Headspace Meme
Get in your muse’s headspace! For each of the words below, add the first word that would come to your character’s mind!
Dinner - “Dzo.”
Sky - “...Sky.”
Trip - “Home.”
Season - Cuinn pauses a moment, then glances up at the sun.
Sleep - He cautiously shakes his head.
Comfort - Raising a hand, he lightly touches his other arm. It takes him a second to produce a word: “Hug.”
Family - He opens his mouth to answer, stops. But it’s not that he’s being untruthful when his mind fails to speak so specifically. “Home,” he repeats.
Black - His tail softly pats the back of his leg, before he lifts his arm again...
Fight - ...and for both words, he gently indicates one of his carved horns.
Restaurant - “...Kugane.”
Home - “Home,” he says, seriously.
Power - This one takes him some time before he finally replies, “Dangerous.”
Steal - “Food.”
Ocean - “Storm.”
Drink - “...Water.”
After you’ve answered these for your character, feel free to send this on to other friends and hear from theirs, use the same words, use different words, use the words you came up with for association! Just pass the idea along.

I’ve done some word association with Cuinn before but it’s always been difficult since most of the time, he really just doesn’t even think in words. His response tends to be emotional rather than something that can be named so it’s hard to put into words.
